I love the occasion when I get a bride who is willing to lay in the grass and kick her feet up on the side of a barn... the WEEK before her wedding! :) Typically I would be worried to post bridal portraits two days before a wedding, but since the groom was watching this entire session I don't think it'll be a big deal!!

Today's bridal session was a family affair! Britney brought along her mom, grandparents, sisters, and even step-brother came around for a few shots (well, we needed his truck -- minor detail, really!).

Here are a few favorites from her session... I can't wait until their wedding next week when we can get her back up on this truck with her groom!! :)

Trash It! {Florence, Alabama Wedding Photography}

It's so rare for me (practically non-existant) to find a bride willing to embark upon the journey known as "Trash the Dress" sessions with me. Many brides look at me like I'm nuts and the topic is never brought up again.

This bride, however, is a little different! She wanted nothing traditional for her wedding, so naturally I offered her a trash shoot. She was excited about it from the get-go!! We ventured to some awesome locations and got some gorgeous portraits. It's so refreshing to see a bride who isn't afraid of getting her gown a little dirty. :)

We started off with more traditional shots though, just to make mama happy! I think mama will be happy with these -- do you?

Kimberly

This past Thursday I had the pleasure of taking bridal portraits for Kimberly at her future mother-in-law's gorgeous home. You may remember Kimberly's sister, Haley, from her senior portraits. Here are some of my favorites from Kimberly's session! If we're lucky, we may be able to drag that gown out for one more session before her wedding on June 20th!

Sweet Caroline...

I know, I know. That song just rings in my head for hours once it gets itself in there. Sorry. ;)

I took bridal portraits for Caroline yesterday, and let me just say that she totally rocked that shoot!! She's gorgeous, fun, and had an absolute ball in her wedding gown. I wish I could post them, but you all will have to wait until after June 6th, because we don't want her fiance' stumbling upon any of her portraits!!!

My New Blogspot.

Hey guys!! I'm not entirely new to blogspot, but this particular blog is. I decided that it would be an awesome way to showcase my most recent work without everyone having to go through the hassle of picking through hundreds of pictures on my main website. My most recent shoot was with Mary for her bridal portraits. It was hard to pick favorites, because we ended up shooting in four different locations!! Here are a few of them, though....
