You may remember this little guy from his newborn session. Aaiden is a total doll!! He smiled, laughed, and made all sorts of faces for me yesterday. I think I kinda love him a lot. :)

The Lane Kiddos

One of the facial features I feel like I got gypped on has always been eyelashes. Mine are really light and pretty well non-existent unless I'm wearing mascara... lots of mascara. :) These two children have enough eyelashes for themselves, me, and anyone else who is like me and lacking in that department. I swanny!!

Lil' man has discovered his feet since his last session, and boy does he love them. Socks on, shoes on, barefoot... who cares!? Feet are AWESOME. He doesn't like clothing changes, but in-between every clothing change he would reassure himself that mom didn't take his feet while she was changing his clothes. Too sweet!!!

Of course, big sister loved playing dress-up and showing me her brand-new pettiskirt. LOVE the petti! They were both a hoot. I love these kids!!

Jay David {Florence, Alabama Family Photographer}

You may remember that name (and this child!) from this post. I'm not going to lie to you -- this child had me from day one! He is so precious!! What has happened since his newborn session? Well, I can tell you... Jay David has gotten a little chunkier and his smiles have gotten a lot bigger! He's making the sweetest little cooing noises... oh, and he's a little gassy. :) He looks even more like his daddy now than he did the last time I saw him, and I wasn't even sure that was possible!!

So now, without further delay, my favorites from today's session.

Olivia

Meet Olivia, a one-month-old sweetheart with a head full of hair! This kid is already wearing bows that CLIP on rather than TOOTHPASTE on (which is what Charlee is still wearing -- toothpaste bows). I'm slightly jealous of the thick hair. :)

Olivia was the winner of the free Christmas session, so as soon as I get a chance to work on these pics and play a little bit, I'm sure you'll be seeing her Christmas cards!

You know, if I didn't have a 7 month old, seeing all of these babies this weekend might just be dangerous. ;)

Okay, I could just eat this baby up... she is the sweetest thing!!!

My little leg warmer model

Charlee had the honor recently of modeling some freakin cute leg warmers for Knotty Baby Wear. (Find her link on the side of my page under "Photographers"!!!) If KBW will send more leg warmers, we will model them. LOL. I have tons of ideas for future shoots -- this one was just a plain & simple theme. Next time, we go extravagant. ;)

We still haven't done pictures in any of her halloween costumes. *sigh* That's coming up, I swear!!!

I've just been goofing around lately, waiting for the next photo session (which is tomorrow, by the way!)..... I had one scheduled for a couple of weeks ago, but a stomach virus took over one of the family members. We rescheduled for this past Wednesday, but rain took over. Now we're doing it on Sunday, rain or shine, because we are determined! Haha. Saturday will be a session with one of my long-time friends and her gorgeous family. I can't wait!! Between those two sessions, a bridal luncheon, and a baby shower, my weekend is cram-packed!

For now, though, here are some photos I've taken of my daughter and a collage of my sister-in-law's senior portraits.

The idea behind my baby's tutu was that my sister had gotten her a monkey head hat, so I wanted her to be a monkey.... but not a boyish monkey. No, not her -- she had to be a frufru frilly monkey. :) That's what happens when you're the princess! The yellow, of course, is for bananas.
